Being a survivor of Domestic Violence, I had many struggles with bullying, control, manipulation, self-worth and confidence. Writing my book has changed my life and now changing lives of others, changing lives of students, making a difference in 19 schools, my book being used in classrooms for wellbeing lessons, being able to be borrowed from their library, giving students belief that they are amazing and do have a voice. Changing lives through public libraries, making a difference to all that borrow my book. Being a part of a magazine, sharing my story and how affirmations and my book are giving women, all who read it, confidence and belief in themselves. Hearing words like “I needed that today”, knowing I am helping that small bit in someone’s life, is the reason I wrote my book, making a difference with my words. I give hope to others when they feel lost.
